Lance’s back from the @growthhackershq Conference and ready to keep growing! Yesterday he spoke on a panel called “What’s Needed to Make Acquisitions Work”. One of the questions he was asked was: What has surprised you as paid social has grown up as a channel? To which @lloveday, a former social media skeptic, said, "I always saw the potential to better target ads with Social, but I really thought it would take longer than it has for that potential to be realized. It’s normal for the rhetoric to get ahead of reality in the ad tech space, but that hasn’t been the case with Social. What surprises me is how much of the media mix Social has become so quickly. And I think there’s a LOT of room to run – maybe more than most people think. So I’ve gone from being a Paid Social skeptic to evangelist. What’s happening to me…? Social is roughly 30% of our overall spend mix now and growing fast. And our client base is skewed more toward B2B. I fully expect Social to comprise the majority of digital ad spend in the next 2-3 years. The targeting capabilities, ad formats, and ROI potential are just that good." What do you think? #GHConf18

We’re so excited to see Closed Loopers using their Volunteer Days to give back to the community! This week Justin is in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia working with @awakeandaliveinc. Check out what he says about his experience: “Today was spent visiting the 3 compounds we run, playing with the children (my heart has officially melted). One compound (pictured) is a school for 4-7 year olds. The other two are for tutoring and after school programs that provide food and medicine. In all, we serve 185 children.”
While in New York to attend a @google Premier Partner Summit and meet with clients, a few Closed Loopers were lucky enough to see @hamiltonmusical.
